Writers Workshop Bulletin Boards Giveaway

I'm frighteningly excited about the writing bulletin board product I finished today!  It's taken me forever to finish it as I wanted to include lots of font and color choices.  400 pages later and they're done.  Hurray!

I started the "Think Like a Writer, Write Like a Writer" board after taking an author study course forever ago and have been collecting quotes ever since.  After reading Katie Wood Ray's (I highly recommend it!) book The Writing Workshop:Working Through the Hard Parts (And They're All Hard Parts) I started tying the board in with my writing mini-lessons and conferring, and now I plan to use the What Can I Do? section as a place where my students can track their individual writing goals -- putting post-its on the board like they do for reading Cafe.

My board last year didn't look as pretty as I hope it will this year.  I'm printing out my new version in fancier fonts with borders.  Yipee!

I love this quote! and the font too.  Thanks Kevin & Amanda!

I'm super excited about these and hope some of you other teacher bloggy friends can use these too.  I'll send the first two commenters a copy.  Don't forget to leave your e-mail address so I can get these to you.

    1. I loved this book! I was doing event writing for a long time, thinking I was running a workshop. This book really helped me to get a workshop started. My writing instruction is certainly not perfect, but it's much better than it used to be. :)
