You know all those pictures you get of yourself after picture day?  Here’s something easy and fun to do with at least one of those babies.  Cut out the head, draw a shapeless body under it and write:

I think Miss (or Mr. or Mrs. or Ms.) . . . should be a . . .  for Halloween?
because . . .

then have the kiddos decorate and write until you end up with something laughable and spectacular!

My kids love this as a “Fun Friday” time choice activity.  I especially love the ninja. What do you think?

I’m going to do this activity tomorrow morning.  It might be a bit late, but maybe I’ll wear a robe over my costume or use their ideas for next year.  Here’s an editable PowerPoint freebie you can use to make your own.  You can choose from skinny stick figure, man hands, or make your own versions.

Also, check out the cute Olivia ears I just made.  I’m quite proud of my pig ear making skills, but I think Lily might be rolling her eyes at me.  🙂

*Update 10/14/13*
I just wrote an updated blog post with examples from the man hands version in the PowerPoint freebie.  Hop on over to the most recent blog post to see pictures with the mannish hands version.  I still loved the kids’ ideas, I just needed a bigger head picture I guess.  🙂
